Friends. Can I still call ya my friends? Hope so. Life has become a tad bit liken to Crazytown here. We are moving in 3 1/2 months, so we’re getting the house ready to sell while still keeping up with family, church, school, soccer, gymnastics, choir, clubs, piano lessons, teaching, visitors, etc. NUTSO Factory, I tell you!
My absence from posting has inspired a few of you to check in on me. Thank you for that. I miss it. I want to get back to it, because getting dressed is still one of my greatest pleasures everyday. And going to Anthro is STILL like drinking milk and honey for me. I feel my blood pressure drop the minute I walk through those doors and take a whiff of their Volcano candle goodness. Breathe in…….ahhhhhhhh!!! Some days I feel like I could seriously just free base off the stuff, it’s that addicting!
So now you know how I party, right? ha. No, if I wanna party, I bust out the Tulle, cause if “tulle” doesn’t say “party”, then I don’t know what does.
I polyvored a few sets with this Aurelie skirt for my sweet niece who was married in December. I bought her this same skirt for a wedding present, cause I’m basically the coolest Aunt in the world ;). She asked me to polyvore a few options for their engagement photos, so I played around with different color combos. When I landed on mint and yellow as worthy companions for the skirt, well heck….even I was SOLD.
The key to rocking a Tulle skirt? Balance the poof down south by wearing a sleek fitted top. Not too heavy on the jewelry either or all that hardware can be too busy with the volume of the skirt.
Cheers to tulle and reconnecting, friends!
