The Miel Dress requires that you learn to speak Citron.

Ah, yes, the Miel Dress.  I think a moment of silence is in order for this flouncy jolt of happiness.

Citron + Chevron + big bow + high neckline = Audrey Hepburn on crack.

Citron fullness on the bottom,…(seriously, we could just stop there, right? and be completely satiated….), graced with a fabulously graphic, black chevron striped bodice? Accompanied by a wide, substantial citron bow that actually (gasp!!) holds it shape throughout the day!!

I feel faint.

I’m pretty sure there was a back-door handshake deal that took place between Kate Spade and Moulinette Seours to birth this cross-bred chevron-citronic lovechild. Frankly, I’m good with it. Just as long as I get to wear it.

I rocked the citron on Easter Sunday and had so much fun exploring color options that I decided to share them. First photo is how I actually wore it.

Citron with analogous Orange:

And here’s two more ways I intend to wear it quite soon:

Citron with cooling blues.

And Citron with spicy red.

Citron and I are getting along nicely. In fact I plan on adding this Christian Siriano dialogue to my “learning to speak Citron” experience.Screen Shot 2014-05-01 at 4.16.29 PMGenius. For REALZ.

Any other Miel fans out there? Or maybe citron fans?

xoxo

You look great! Love the color citron – can’t wear it close to my face, but I have a fab pair of citron heels. By the way, so glad to see a new post from you. Happy spring!

  2. Oh, I love it with the black slip! I think the red is my favorite combo…but it is all so good. I hope the move is going smoothly for you and there is no stress!

  3. I love that dress! I do not remember it. It is the perfect Molly Dress! I love the orange the best. But I love orange and green together. I am loving the pink with the green inspiration. So pretty!

You look fab as usual, Molly! I saw my petite size popback and I asked (MADE) my husband get it for me for Mother’s Day. Then 2 days later they offered free shipping no minimum, so I emailed Anthro as my husband and we got free shipping, too, Yay! It just came in today and I have yet to open and try it on. Am I supposed to wait for this Mother’s Day “surprise”?

Sweet! Yay for Anthro doing you a solid on the free shipping. And props to the husband for,….ahem…..”INSISTING” he buy you the Miel for Mother’s Day. Such a wise man ;) How did it work for you?!?!

  5. Nothing beats black and white and yellow, and citron is the best yellow ever (well, I love mustard, but it’s easier to find…the right shade of citron is divine…and I love that ‘citron’ is so consistent a shade!) Your mixes are beautiful and I am absolutely drooling over it with pale pink (my colour obsession this spring).

Zara has a gorgeous citron silk blouse this spring- it’s just the right decadent weight of silk, and a beautiful cut (though the sizes are all over the place…I had to order a couple of times to get it right) and I found the perfect pale pink vintage skirt on Etsy- that look from Siriano is gonna be mine!

I know, I’m completely obsessed with all thing citronic now. I checked out that Zara blouse…zesty and fabulous! Nice find. The Siriano combination is simply killing me. It’s so gorgeous it stops me dead in my tracks every time I cop a looksie at it. Gotta make that one happen, STAT.
