Yep, I’m still alive, Readers. It’s been so quiet around here you could hear a pin drop!
My apologies, friends. Silence on the blog becomes a necessity when 3 of my progeny are slapped with double ear infections, complete with green snot, and the cold n’ cough twins. I do indeed believe my children are trying to kill me off, one sleepless night at a time!! So what happens when an exhausted, sleep-deprived mom is surrounded by sick progeny?
If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em! I got the crud. Then MacGyver got it. It’s the cold that kept on giving and giving. It’s been loads of fun…
Most of the phlegm has passed, so I think we’re on the mend, thank goodness. In addition to buying stock in Kleenex these past coupla weeks, I’ve also been elbow deep in another baby shower that took place this past Friday. I’ll do a full post on that in the coming week, however here’s a little sneak peek at the baby shower invites. Theme was Li’l Biscuit, complete with a biscuit bar! So fun.
I’ve also been trying my darnedest to take outfit photos. Here’s a few OOTD shots of me dotting my t’s, literally, in the dotted Bloomfall Peplum Top. What a fun and versatile top! It’s quickly rising to the top of my classic Anthro faves.

Girl, I so feel you! Holiday blues, post holiday blues, bouts with flu and winter blahs…..blogging not really happening:/ I’m glad the family is feeling better. Despite felling ill and being exhausted, you look terrific!
Thanks so much, lady. I think you need a love-gift from your man to get you back on the blogging horse!! Tell him your horse is named Anthropologie.;)
Ugh! I hope you all get 100% better very soon.
I love both outfits – especially the first one. The double dots is great!
Double dots– love that. Shoulda used that as my post title! Hope you’ve escaped January unscathed in your house!!
So glad January is done, too! We had a string of about two weeks of single digit temps. And just got the power bill for it- ouch! Add in a couple of snow days and sick days for my kids, too, and I sure hope the worst is over. Thanks for taking time to post! Here’s to a better February all around!
Oi! nothing like a crazy power bill to stick it to ya! Hope your house is all health and wellness now! Happy love month to you.
(Trying my comment again, sorry if there’s a double-post!) I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been sick!! It’s no fun with a house full of under-the-weather family members. But you look great! I love both looks. And that shower invite is beyond adorable.
Thanks so much, Roxy! Hope you’ve avoided all the nasties floating around January! The Olivia Cut-Out oxfords have been my saving grace through this horrid ordeal we call January!!
I am happy you all are feeling better. I look forward to seeing your baby shower post.
Thanks so much, Rachel! Waiting for pics from my friend who photographed the shin-dig.
Glad to see you again friend! Sorry that everyone had the bug but yes, February brings forth a breath of fresh air and tonsa kisses! Lovely colors on the outfits and new oxfords: I see you!
Thank goodness we’re back to normalish. Maybe I’ll get a solid night’s sleep in before Mr. Banks starts in again with those darn back molars…poor kid. If it’s not one thing, it’s another! Happy February…hope it’s chuck full of heart flutters and happy love for your Dr. Love and all things fashionable!
Hope things are “clearing up” in the household – I’ve had ear infections before and they are fierce bad!
I’m SO over ear infections and phlegm. After a month like January, shopping therapy has never meant so much to me!!
nuts- good thing January is over, and if everyone has been sick then it’s all over, right?
Love the way this top adores and flatters your shoe collection! squee!
Serious Squees backatcha! I’m thick in polka-dot infatuation over here!
